G-Skill Sniper 1866 or Ripjaws 2133?

I can get the Ripjaws slightly cheaper at the moment.... both are 2x8gb.

And the build I'm doing has an AMD 8350 and a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3.
GPU prob. AMD 7970.

I'm just learning about memory, but higher is better right? So if it's cheaper, why not? Or are there unknown compatibility factors that are at work here? If I got into overclocking, is one preferable?

Thanks in advance!

I would say Ripjaws 2133 if you plan on overclocking, but I think your motherboard can't go over 2000Mhz (and anyways your CPU will bottleneck), so for stability I would go for the Sniper 1866.
