Providing a link will help. I'm a newbie to watercooling. I'm getting a xspc raystorm cpu intel block .

They type should not matter as long as the size matches.

Just make sure you know the forward voltage and MAX current it can take to add the right resistor.

Will help you pick the right resistor. Remember you do NOT have to push the MAX current on an led, even much lower can still be quite bright.

Your power supply will have 12(Yellow)/5(Red) and 3.3(Orange) volts to play with. Most would use 12, but 5 would also work. 3.3 may be a bit low for some leds.

I am sure you can get pre-made with the LED/Resistor and a connector for your power supply if needed.
