All you would be buying from Microcenter is the CPU and motherboard.
Get this motherboard http://www.microcenter.com/product/398237/GA-78LMT-USB3_Socket_AM3_mATX_760G_AMD_Motherboard

Pair the motherboard with this CPU http://www.microcenter.com/product/401797/FX_6300_Black_Edition_35GHz_Six-Core_Socket_AM3_Boxed_Processor

I suggest you watch these videos. This is just part 1 but there are links to all the other parts within it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPIXAtNGGCw

Do you need other things like a mouse and keyboard? Monitor or Operating system?

This would be a solid, reliable system that would do well with Skyrim. You can find better prices on these compents if you look around the net or wait for newegg's sale emails.
