i5 3570k Overclocked vs Stock i7 3770

Help settle a debate between me and a friend, which would get better gaming score in your average quad core to 6 core gaming scenario.

The i5 3570k Overclocked to 4.4Ghz

or

A Stock i7 3770k at 3.5Ghz

    Well, only a couple games actually take advantage of more than 4 cores right now (I think Crysis?), so the oc'd 3570k will win. Stock 3570k vs stock 3770k is a pretty much a draw.

    Question, We seem to have basically the exact same setup. Same mobo, cpu, cooper, only difference is the 760 and 670, Do you mind me asking what voltage do you use to get it to 4.5

    Everytime i try to reach 4.5 i have to reset the CMOS
  3. I set my vcore offset to +0.005 and additional turbo voltage to +0.039.
