Hi good people!
I just came back from the computer store and I came back with this config. I didn't buy anything yet as I wanted ro make sure I m getting the best config for my bucks. Here it is:

CPU: intel i5 4670k
Mobo: asus z87 A
GPU: radeon R9 270x
RAM: 2x4gb gskills ripjaws-x ddr3 1600Mhz
HD: wd10EZEX caviar blue 1Tb sata 3
SSD: samsoung 840 evo series mz-7TE120BW 120Gb ssd sata3
Power: seasonic 620w S12II-620 Retail
Box: antec 300 two mid tower gamer

Now I am leaving in Israel so I cant really buy from newegg and prices here are about 30-40% more than in the US. I m looking to build a mid-end gaming pc with overcloacking options. I will mainly be playing RTS and RPGs but probably no FPS.

Thanks

It is a good configuration, i would try to get a 280x but only if you manage in your budget. The 280x is a new version of the 7970 while the 270x is the old 7870. The perfomance gain is worth it imho.

Yes the 270X is basically the same a a 7870, so if you can then try and stretch your budget to upgrade to 280x
