Hi All,

I'm going to build a new system with some components I already have and I'd like to have some advices as I'm not sure if this can work.

Motherboard : asus z77e-itx

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=Z77E-ITX

CPU & Other components : i7-3770s, 16gb RAM, msata 64gb, 1x3.5HDD 3TB

Case : itek diamond 7

http://www.itek.it/prodotti-itek-97/case/mini-itx-case/item/391-case-diamond7-mini-itx-120w-psu-65w-adapter-incluso-full-black

120W DC-DC Board + AC 65W 12V/5A

CPU FAN :

I was thinking to low profile akasa K25

http://www.akasa.co.uk/search.php?seed=AK-CC7118HP01

Any other options is OK if you've some.

Questions :

CPU TDP is 65W.

I will use only internal cpu gpu.
Do you think the AC 65W provided with the case is enough or I need more power? Let's say 90w or more?

There're not much specification about the case but there should be some space to host other fans. Do I need some or the CPU fan is enough?
Any advice about fans I should use on this case?

Thanks in advance to all :)

Andrea

Well the cpu isn't the only thing that needs power. The hdd, DVD drive, graphics cards also need power.

I suggested that you should get a 600w power supply so that you have more than you need, if you ever decide to upgrade. if you get a 600w power supply you won't be using all 600w.(example: if you have a computer that needs 250w, and you put a 1000w power supply. The computer will only use 250w from the 1000w available
