Solution Dereck47 Nov 14, 2013 SATA drives are backwards and forwards compatible so your SSD will work. Your motherboard only has SATA 2 (3Gb/s) ports, so you will not get advertised Read/Write speeds. You will probably get up to maximum 290-295 MB/s Read/Write speeds.
