Can I overclock on a intel board with the q965 chipset.

Hello,
My school was throwing out a bunch of old servers, so I took a look around and grabbed as much of the core 2 duo's as I could. I saw a intel motherboard and though this might have overclocking abilities.

Question: So could this board overclock any intel core 2 duo's.

no you cant because manufacturers locks the bios and yuo cant get access to the mulitpers or fsb to overclock

I have edited the question. What about Intel branded motherboards? Can I overclock them?

yes but i recommend getting an unlocked cpu and a motherboard that can handle that
