Hey again everyone! My question is this; I recently picked up an Asus gtx 780 direct CUII edition and have it installed. I game at 2560x1440 and like to play my games at the highest possible settings (ill sometimes turn AA or shadows down a bit depending on the game) in everyones opinion is the 780ti worth the extra money over this version of the 780? I've looked at some benchmarks and the difference isnt great, however I really do not want to lose out on too much performance if its worth it.

Thanks!

I would wait a bit more till r9 290 (which is same to gtx 780 and costs lot less) and r9 290x (better than 780 ti in some cases) will be remade by other brands with better coolers and get them for cheap.
As for a 780 ti won't bring you much on a single monitor even with that resolution.

The new GTX 780 Ti sounds really promising and I think it would be nice upgrading to this card if you have the money. But since you are coming from GTX 780 already, I'm not really sure if that would be a good idea.

oh didn't read he already had a gtx 780 o.O
no is not worth at all the upgrade from 780 to 780ti ( only if you can sell the 780 at good price or you need it for other pc )
SLI could be a better option

I should clarify that I can still return the 780 and get a full refund, so that would not be a problem, I like to OC my cards as well, so this would factor in to the equation.

Really, then get the 780 Ti. I was thinking that you will be stuck with the 780. If you can do that, and if I were in your shoes, I'd return the 780 and get the 780 Ti instead.
