Soon im getting this notebook, and im interested is it good for "gaming".
There are specifications :

OS: Linux Ubuntu
CPU: Intel Core i7 Mobile Processor 4500U (1.80GHz up to 3.0GHz, 4MB cache),
Display: 17.3" TFT Active Matrix LED Backlight (1600x900)
RAM: 8 GB 1600MHz, HDD: 1TB (5400 rpm),
VGA: AAMD Radeon HD 8870M,
DVD±RW, Fast Ethernet 10/100

So can you tell me is it good for gaming, and if u had any experience or heard somewhere, about quality and cooling of this notebook? Should I get this one, or search for other.
Thank you in advance.

Solution
All I can say is that gaming laptops generally runs hot. It seems average temps for the CPU can be from 86c to 94c when playing games. Unfortunately, that is considered "normal". Playing GTA 4 on my 14" Lenovo Y470 pushed the CPU to 99c and it started to throttle down the clockspeed. GPU temps are generally 65c to 80c. Not exactly sure about high end "Class 1" GPUs since I never bothered looking at laptops with high end GPUs. In general, I recommend using a cooling pad when playing games. It usually lower temps by 2c - 5c.

I have no idea of the build quality of the specific Dell laptop. You should probably Google for reviews of that laptop (if any) to get an idea of how it performs and what it's limitations are.
