Hello guys.

Got 8 Gb (2x4) Kingston 1600 (9-9-9-27) 1.35v. ram. I`m planning to add 8 Gb more. Planning to buy G.SKILL DDR3 2x4096MB PC3-17000 2133MHz (F3-2133C9D-8GXL) (9-11-11-31) 1.6v. This G-Skill is cheaper than my Kingston in my country (same as many other 1866+ RAM). So the questions are:

- should i stick to mine intentions and buy G-Skill? And will my MB choose the frequencies and timings automaticaly in that case? ( i know that the RAM would run at slower frequecies, but what about CAS timings?)
- or should i buy the same Kingston 1600 as I have?
- or any other good RAM?

MB: Asus maximus vi hero
CPU: core i5 4670K
GPU: GTX 770

Feel free to give any advices xD TY :)

Any time you mix DRAM sets it can be problematic, especailly when trying to mix freqs, different brands, different timings, and different voltages, and your tring to mix all of those, you might, might be able to get them to play at about 1866, 9-9-9-27, 2T, 1.6, no guarantee but possibly. I'd suggest a set of the full amount you want in a single set
