Solved OEM mobo broke, is there a way to get a new product key, without dropping $100 on a new Windows 7 DVD? Tags: Windows 7 Last response: November 16, 2013 5:13 PM in Windows 7 Share mike2012 November 14, 2013 11:47:34 AM Okay, here's my situation. My old mobo, with the Core i3 processor in it.... broke. Won't POST or anything. Since then, I've bought a new mobo to replace it, but a new mobo = new Windows 7. So is it possible for me to call Microsoft or get a new key? Or is it possible that the key on the sticker on the case may be a different key? Use the phone activation and if needed speak with a Microsoft rep. Or do you have to find their number yourself? m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask !
