Not sure if this is the right forum to be posting this issue in, but I recently built a new computer, and everything is working as is should except one thing. The sound. I have installed the drivers from the Mobo disc, and it didn't work. I installed the factory drivers from Realtek and it still does not work, and I am currently contacting Gigabyte.com for some help as well. They told me to install a certain driver to which is still hasn't worked. USB Headsets work, just not the jacks on the back of the motherboard or the front of the case.

Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H
Processor: i5-4670
GPU: MSI 770

Any ideas or need more information let me know.
Thanks so much for the help in advance.

No biggie, just a cable connection, check if all cables for frontpanel are connected properly where they should be, and also the cables for the sound, if that doesn't work troubleshoot the thing from device manger :D

Pretty sure the interior cables are correct. My Case's HD Audio cord is going into the F_AUDIO on the board. The ports on the back still don't work. Troubleshooted it and it can't find anything wrong.

"Make sure speakers are not muted.
Make sure Windows Audio Service is set to Automatic & Started. (Run services.msc)
Download & save to your desktop, Audio drivers for your computer model and Operating System from your Computer MFG Site. (Do not Install yet)
Uninstall Audio Drivers in Device manager & Reboot." A thing someone said on the forum, try it :D

"I upgraded my os from XP on my 8 year old hardware to windows 7 x64 and had an impossible time figuring out how to solve my NO SOUND issue. The green bars would jump around on the volume indicator when playing media but no sound would come out of my speakers. I found a lot of people asking the same question online with very few answers , and none that worked for me.

After installing several different drivers, I ended up downloading the one at this link:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx...
which is the HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO CODECS software, not the AC'97 driver. After installing this, I rebooted, went to system>sound> and looked for the installed realtek control software in the sound folder. This opens the program which allows you to make adjustments to your sound. On the right corner, there is a diagram of the six input jacks that are on your motherboard. I clicked on the grey highlighted one (where the speaker jack was plugged in to) and selected HEADPHONE instead of whatever it was set to. Instantly I had sound. "

This could solve it :D

Okay. It's running in the services, and it's not muted haha! I'm trying a different driver from Realtek, ... I've tried the one from the manufacturer, with no luck.
