Hi, I would like to upgrade my outdated system to run 2013 games at reasonable settings (doesn't have to be BF4 on Ultra or something).
The trick is to achieve that goal with a price of under 150$.
My current system:

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ @ 2.6 GHz
RAM: 2GB (1.75 usable, I don't know why 250MB are unusable)
Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce 8200
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit

I currently have huge FPS problems, I can't even play CoD 4 at more than 12 fps, and that game is from 2007! The kind of game I would want to play are BF3 (or even BF4 if possible), Sleeping Dogs and Watch Dogs (this is of course not all, but this is the general kind of things I would like to have at 45+ fps).
My computer has also apparently some problem with Team Fortress 2, which keeps crashing, but I can play it at reasonable fps when it is actually working.

Thank You!

not really he can upgrade the cpu and ram and with the remaining money buy a graphics card
it will be very hard to do since those specs are from way back

Please tell me how hes gonna get a CPU and RAM for an outdated motherboard and a vid card all for $150 or under. Hes not. DDR2 RAM is more expensive than DDR3 ram. And there is no CPU he can upgrade to from AMD that hes gonna get playable frames in multiplayer. He needs to replace it all and start over to play BF4 at playable frames in multiplayer. Even BF3 would not be playable on that budget.

If you read my last statement "it will be very hard to do since those specs are from way back" thanks for not reading
