Battlefield 4 has huge performance issues on a wide variety of systems. Currently most people are waiting for a patch to address this issue. I will say however that the 770 is the recommended card to play bf4 on ultra.

This will fix Stuttering and Frame Drops

1 - go to start > type: regedit

2 - go to "Edit" > "Find" - or - hit "CTRL" & "F"

3 - search for this registry key: 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583

4 - After a short while there will be a list in the left hand side pane. Select the highlighted number and on the right hand you will see "ValueMax" and "ValueMin". Double click on "ValueMax" and change the "64" to "0" and hit Ok. Close the registry and reboot your computer.

This fix only works for some people and generally it only improves performance. Unparking the cores doesn't always solve this issue. I've tried it on an i7 930 and it did nothing.

Try removing the 2GB stick. This has nothing to do with battlefield 4 (or maybe it does, I would like to see some benchies with 64p map multiplayer testing RAM), but I suspect that dual channel doesn't work.

Also about the single player BF4:

Its impossible for GTX760 to play single player BF4 at Ultra settings smootly.
Try playing at high settings which will make the game running at 57FPS.

System can access 2 ram pins at the same time. So basicly double bandwidth in theory. Also from 8gb to 10gb isn't much of a difference for games. Unless you are doing video/3d rendering/editing you will hardly ever notice any improvement.

From what I've seen and read the max required RAM for running Bf4 on ultra is 8gb. I run it on ultra 1080p and it only uses about 2.3gb

-I know it will be less RAM, but RAM isn't everything anymore, welcome to the 21 century:)
-Your motherboard probably supports dual channel memory, so the performance is at its best when it is combined with two sticks of RAM. I am not saying that when you will remove the 2gb stick things will start to fly, but yor pc will be better optimized for work.

I was refering to RAM speeds (latency and hz). An other site though they said that at Ultra settings BF4 required 6700MB.

You should able to set up the game with nice settings. If I were you I would do the following:
1. Play at each level on video settings. Note the fps (Type: ` perfoverlay.drawfps 1 (then hit enter) your fps should show up.
2. As you try each settings limit AA to 2x. You dont get much for the loss in FPS after 2x.
3. As you try each setting play with the field of view and note your FPS.
4. Test your Ping ( http://www.pingtest.net) and dont join servers higher than 80.

As for your rig, make sure you do a clean driver instal of the latest driver. Also try to repair option for B4 game just in case.

Last: Try to OC the gpu/cpu. I'd only do this if your need the extra 5 fps to get a steady 60 fps at the higher settings.

Using these steps I was able to play the game with a gts 250, 7870xt, and now a 7970. I still can't max all things out and stay about 60 fps tho. I run ultra/high and 2x AA but have my view maxed out. The trick to having a good time is high fps and settings that help you spot ppl.

Good luck.
