Question #1 - Yes
Question #2 - hard to say, but i have personally had good luck with Asus Xonar D1, but either way i don't believe it matters as long as Creative has gotten better about updating their drivers.
Question #3 - you should have about 6 to 8 Sata ports and if those optical drives are all Sata then yes (you will need the cables as the motherboard usually only comes with two).
Question #4 - This is a subjective question, because it really just depends on what you are really wanting. I would say maybe a better graphics card, but your setup there looks pretty good maybe two velociraptor drives with Raid 0 (but that will add about 300-400 dollars).
Question #5 - Cooling (CPU, Etc.) and the hard drives.
Question #6 - Yes you will have good graphics, but that could be argued because again subjectivity comes into play here and i am sure some super nerd would argue with me, but unless you want to spend a thousand dollars on a graphics card you are good.
