I have a 2GB Gtx 670. Right now I have two 24" monitors (1080P) and I want to add a third for gaming. Should I bother getting a second GTX670? The price hasn't really come down even though the new Radeon and Geforce cards are out. Are any of the new cards as fast as two 670s? BTW: my cpu is a 3770k on a Gigabyte UD7 MB, so bottleneck shouldn't be a problem.
I think the new GTX780ti will be about the same performance class as GTX670sli.
The R9 290X may be close, but it has noise issues.
If you will be doing triple monitor gaming, you will want that kind of graphics capability.
In my opinion, as long as you dont mind SLI-ing, I'd go with another 670 (black friday is a good time to buy it). You'll get the best bang for your buck.
Good point. I got the first 670 last black Friday for $260, if I can get about the same I guess it is worth it. I just didn't want to pay $400 for another one if a 290X (like Geofelt suggested) is the same. Thanks for the reminder, I'll wait until BF and see.
