My Canon printer MG 5350 is printing with red tint,done print head clean , deep clean , run a print test which is not what it should be any answers to problem please

Try replacing the other ink cartridges.

Hi Thanks for reply cartridges are refillable ,use edible inks as printer is used for printing on cakes, all cartridges are full any other suggestions ?? many thanks

Only thing it could be is that at least one of the other cartridges are not being read or are properly, tough to test though since you have a special setup. Do a test print with doing one color at a time, see what comes up looking not how it used to. You'd have to replace that cartridge.

had a similar problem and removed the print head (very easy,pull a lever and unclip) and manually cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol.
This cleaned all the dried ink out of the head and now works great.

Hi again,took out print head and as using edible water based inks cleaned in HOT water seems to have done the trick ,thanks very much ,glad i joined this forum

The best thing to use is servisol isopropyl alcohol if you google it you will find numerous suppliers including EBay.its also excellent for all sorts of other electronics cleaning.
