Hello, I have been trying to trouble shoot a boot/start up problem with my windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit PC. Problem occured after updating graphics drivers using Advanced System Care utility. The system started to run slowly and was sluggish to open files and even highlighting mouseover icons was very slow. I attempted to rollback the video drivers through Device Manager> Properties> Driver> Rollback Driver. Upon restart Win7 is now unable to enter login screen and restarts. It gets past the Windows 7 logo then goes black and sends me to the Windows Boot Manager and suggest to "Insert Windows installation disc...to Reapir computer". It also shows a "Status: 0xc000000e" and "Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessable." I'm assuming the video card?
After trying the windows installation it then repeats the steps above. It is unable to "fix" the problem. f8 safemode doesn't work, f12 restore also doesn't work....
I can access the drive by using it as a slave. Can I try and manually repair drivers this way?
Thanks for any and all help and suggestions.
