i am about to install a 7950 into my pc, upgrading from a gt610 (which is only a $40 gpu and sucks at everything) and i only have 2 fans in my pc, one on the front for the hard drive, and one on the back, for idk what, and of course my cpu fan, installing the 7950, do i need to get more fans? i can get 2 more on top and one on the bottom, should i install 2 more to keep my pcs temps lower with the 7950?

Before you go out and purchase a 7950 you had best make sure that your PC can handle the additional power requirements, and that it will actually fit in the case.

Top and rear seem redundant to me since the rear fan should already be pushing enough air out to keep fresh air coming through the CPU area on its own. With most HSFs and case combination, a fair chunk of the top fan's airflow is fresh air that never passed through the HSF.

If the OP has filtered intakes and does not want to turn his PC into a dust trap, he needs 2-3 filtered intakes for each exhaust to maintain positive pressure inside the case, so no airflow budget for a top exhaust in that scenario.

Is there like a computer program or application that tells me my gpu temperature? And or how many frames I'm running?
