Far and away, faster and much more bandwidth, you don't specify which GSkill 2400, they have several, but all are far and away better, the Corsair platinums in 1600 are most all (3 sets) CL9 which is basically entry level sticks, 1 CL10 set (slow) and I believe they have one in CL8....if you chose to run the 2400 sticks at 1600 they could easily run at CL7 and prob 6
