So I rebuilt my brothers laptop (Asus g73jw) after he pulled it apart and I installed Windows 7 64-bit. Everything is working fine until I try to install the graphics driver. The screen gets up to the starting windows logo then its just blank. I even installed the oldest version and that had a little success, it showed the blue loading screen with the mouse but then black. I'm pretty sure it's the graphics card driver as I installed all the updates except NVidia's driver. Right now I'm using the Intel's video driver on highest resolution. What should I do and how?

Take it to where you have bought and do a clean check up of your graphics card and also check your ram, hdd, processor and also motherboard. sometimes it might be a fan issue. if the fan has malfunctioned the graphics card won't work fine and last check your monitor for issues in displaying bright colours and sometimes due to bad luck the new driver you installed has caused the card to malfunction and damage itself may be due to incompatibility.

I re-installed windows, the bios is version 205 so i honestly think the card is stuffed even through it works for a second.
