Hey guys, I have a one HD 500gb (C:\) which I then split into two partitions (C:\ 380gb) & (D:\ 80gb) I then booted up my computer and I keep getting 'Verifying DMI pool data', so I decided to boot with my Win 7 DVD and then I went to load drivers in System Recorvery Options, I then found my problem; the partition letters had been switched around: C: was now D: and vice versa. So now when the pc was looking for Windows on C: Drive, it wasn't there. Could someone help because I need all my files on both drives and I can't afford to format.

Is there a way to at least tell my PC to boot with the D drive partition instead of C? Can I do it in Command Prompt?

Here's what happened:

My setup conists of one 500gb HD which is split into 2 partitions (C Being the main drive and D being the second).
One time I boot up and I find my D drive missing in 'My Computer'.
I decide to run Partician Magic and I am able to recover it in that program.
When I restart I get stuck at 'Verifying DMI Pool Data'

I decide to boot with WIN7 DVD and begin startup repair but I am unable to repair anything.

I can't save any startup options:

But when I went to load drivers, I saw my problem:

My partitions had been switched (Drive C was now Drive D and vice versa, everything was intact but the drive letters are wrong)

I tried to run cmd DiskPart and assign the the letters to each partition but when I restarted it went back to 'Verifying DMI Pool Data'.

Help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to keep all my stuff on my drive. It weird because I can see all my files in 'Load Drivers' screen, it's just the drives are wrong. I think it also has to do with Partition Magic not saving the right setting so when the PC is looking for Windows on C Drive it's not there.
