the reason we play bf4 is to take advantage of its graphics quality...i think you should get at least hd 7770

I'd be surprised if a GT620 can even handle "low." What is your upgrade budget? For nVidia, a GTX650 is the least you'd want for games. If you can afford it, a GTX650Ti Boost Edition is a good choice.
Edit: On the AMD side, rough equivalents are the HD7750 (as Raheel mentioned) and the HD7850.
Make sure your PSU is up to the task. A HD7750 needs no auxiliary power connector. A few GTX650s do not either, but most do, as do the others. A 380W Antec Earthwatts would run any of them.

1024x768 low is what might be possible. Nothing more than that.

Post your other specs too. In any way you would need an upgrade.

The GT620 can't play BF4, most likely at all or in horrible resolution maybe. I'd recommend the 660ti for BF4, and it's only about 50$ more than the 650ti boost. I have SLI 660ti's (I got them 180each) and they perform like a awesome on BF4.

Well, the upper limit might be determined by the quality of your PSU. A GTX650Ti Boost Edition is a good budget choice. If you want better, a GTX760 will allow better settings. On the AMD side, a HD7850 or HD7870 would do well for you.

You should get a 280x instead of getting the i5. That would be better for gaming. Yes, there would be a slight bottleneck, but you can always remove the bottleneck by upgrading to a better CPU in the future.

I would say go for the 280x if your PSU is 500W+

That is some really old tech there; S775 is three generations old, and DDR2 has become expensive due to its obsolescence. I hope you paid very little for it.

People play the game for the game. Game > graphics. Only game that this really applies to is crysis and its sequels to some extent.
