I'll suggest using the memory finder tool that most ram brands have - if looking to Corsair ram, this link http://www.corsair.com/learn_n_explore/ Kingston, Crucial, Patriot, GSkill, all have similar tools. The problem (as you've noticed) with using the motherboard's QVL is that it is never (to my knowledge) updated so it becomes outdated rather fast.

Hmm you know the long number, like this one (CMV4GX3M2A1333C9) on ram dose it matter?

Nope, in fact if you do have any issues, you can contact Kingston who will help you get them running right or replace them (they have a lifetime warranty)

If you are unable to start your computer with this third set of ram, ram is probably not the problem. If that is the case (and the previous types of ram should've worked), I'd suspect the motherboard is shot or another component (possibly the PSU even)

What is your current ram configuration - how many modules in which slots? Are you trying to add the ram to the existing ram or simply add a new kit. There may be problems if trying to add ram to existing ram.

okay so i have 4x1 4GB, so i am using all 4 slots, and i made sure to take all the old ram out, before I put in the new one. And I don't know if the new ram will work or not, I am simply trying to avoid any sort trouble when i buy them the 3 time.

This is simply to confirm since I do not know for sure...
When trying the new kits you are using the blue ram slot closest to the CPU (DIMM_A1) for one module and also the closest black slot to the CPU (DIMM_A2) for the second module.

Just to be clear, the new ram i posted, the kingston one I don't have them yet, and yes that was what i did with them.

Now I am thoroughly stumped... just as an experiment, have you tried running two of your current sticks (known working) in those slots without the other two modules inserted - have you run memtest86 on your current ram? I'm going to suggest trying both ideas - it may be that you'll need to run two sticks in channel B or, (I wouldn't know why) need to have all slots populated.

hmm okay so the only option that i have not tried, is the mem test...and i don't really know how to do that:(
