Hi,

Built a gaming PC about 6 months ago, which I then sold on about a month ago. Everything worked 100% before shipping but the buyer sent it back and had a a refund as it was apparently faulty on arrival.

Now that I've got it back the issue is that all then fans & hdd are spinning but there is no post or video out.

Here's what I've done so far:

- Checked all power cables etc. are connected and that nothing is loose or damaged
- Reduced to minimum system:
- Disconnected hdd, graphics, optical drive & removed RAM leaving just PSU, CPU & HSF connected

At this point booting does not produce any beeps or sounds at all, again the HSF spins but nothing else happens (board speaker is connected).

Is there anything left to do or am I at a point where I have to say that motherboard or CPU are broken? I don't have the spare parts to try the CPU on another board.

PSU - OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W
Mobo - Asus M5A78L-M (AM3+)
CPU - AMD FX X6 6100
HSF - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Thanks in advance.

No posting after checking the core system i.e. cpu, mobo, ram video card (unless you have onboard) and not recieving a post. I have to ask is it even power on, and are you sure you have the 24 pin and 4 pin fully seated on the mobo.

The fact that this occurred post shipment points to a loose connection. Let me know.
