i am going to upgrade my pc. i am confused in buying the phenom ii x6 1055t and the fx6300. i will pair it with an amd radeon hd 6670. i will be using them for gaming. my motherboard is ASRock n68-s(supports AM3 CPU's). will the phenom bottleneck any gpu??

Some games are more CPU intensive than others, but you are going to need a significantly faster GPU if you want to bottleneck your CPU. In some situations even a 780 TI could bottleneck an fx6300. It's not that the fx6300 is particularly fast, it is just that modern games rely very heavily on GPU power. Just look at CPU benchmarks and GPU benchmarks and you can do the comparison yourself. If a game runs at 50fps with your CPU and at 20FPS with your GPU, you'll know what's up. A high end GPU is best paired with an i5/i7 or a fast FX 8xxx...
I don't think the board supports AM3+ so the FX 6300 wouldn't work. The website is difficult to understand so I'm not sure...

The Phenom will bottleneck higher end GPUs, but not the 6670.
