Oh, i don't know anymore, I picked few boards that I would like to get, but I don't know which one is the best.
Guidance needed for this noob <-

ASRock::
-z87 extreme4
-z87 extreme3
-z87 pro4
-z87 pro3
MSI::
-z87 G43-GAMING
-z87 G45-GAMING

Now, I know by common sense that in this case higher number means better, but what do I loose/gain?

MSI is notorious for using cheap parts... so generally i don't trust them. They get away with the cheap parts on intel systems because intel cpus use less power then AMD cpus... so the quality issues with their parts isn't so apparent on intel systems. Asrock has many of the same issues as MSI... and in the grand scheme of things isn't much better. That said you asked for an opinion and i gave it... if it was my cpu, i'd probably trust the Asrock a little more.

That said in that 120-150 pricerange i'd rather spend my $$ on an Asus Z87-A or a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H; and if you can stretch up a bit in price a Asus Z87-PRO (V ed) would be even better.

The main difference is on those 2nd tier boards like Asrock or MSI you tend to get...

The main difference is on those 2nd tier boards like Asrock or MSI you tend to get a lot of extras that you don't get on the same priced boards from Asus or Gigabyte... both those MSI and Asrock boards have better on board sound systems then the Asus z87-A... And if you don't mind playing roulette with the quality issue you can get some feature rich motherboards from them.

personally i like my motherboards to last no matter what beating i put on them. so i tend to stick with Asus.
