My GPU is going from 99% load to 0% in most games.

My evga gtx 650 to 1g is going from 99% load to 0 in most to all my games. My CPU is an intel i3-3220 and it clocks at 3.4 ghz. I don't understand why this is happening please help!

if it's hitting 100% utilization it's bottlenecking you. at 0% utilization the cpu is bottlenecking you.

Considering the 650 is around a 7750 in terms of gaming quality... meaning it's literally as low end as possible for acceptable gaming in 1080p... its most likely the gpu being the main issue.

what games are you playing? what resolutions?

I play skyrim at high settings at 1400x600 and cs:go on ultra at the same resolution. But all the games I've been playing have been fine for like 4 months and then this just started happening

It happens when I'm active in the game. It happens with every game I play except MLB 2k12. I don't get why this is happening.

I made a mistake it's a evga 650ti 1gb
