Hi just wondering if anyone can advise.

I have a Dell U3014 monitor and an older Samsung 245B that I would like to drive via a Radeon HD 7800 card.

The GF card has 2x minidisplayport 1xHDMI and 1xDVI outputs.

The whilst the Dell monitor has a host of input options the Samsung only has HDMI or VGA.

I currently had the Dell connected to the 7800 via a HDMI cable and the Samsung via the DVI, the desktop set to extended, but the resolution of the Dell monitor seems to be limited to he max resolution of the Samsung.

Is this a result of using a single graphics card to drive both monitors, a limitation of HDMI or some thing else I have missed. If so is there a way of connecting these that will give the full resolution each monitor is capable of?
