Hi!

Im going to buy SSD finally and now I have question about moving my Windows to SSD. I have 1TB hard drive where is only one partition and there are my Windows, games, videos etc. Is there any way to clone only Windows files or would I have to clone all my files? Thanks already for answering :)

Depending on the SSD you get, many come with a utility program that will perform the drive cloning. How large is the SSD you are purchasing? On drives that are less than 50% utilized for the HDD, I've created a partition on the drive, moved all data that does not need to be cloned to that partition and then set the cloning utility to only clone the Boot partition and main OS partition. After the cloning is complete, check that your system boots with all programs etc working properly, format and delete the partition that previously had the OS and programs installed to it and then extend the partition to occupy the whole HDD, saving the original files.

So can I clone only Windows with that?

Sorry, I didn't read your question thoroughly. Cloning will make a bit for bit copy of your HDD. The only way to get Windows only is a fresh install using a disk. If you don't have a disk you can extract your key and borrow a disk of the same version or download an image of the same version and burn it to a disk. Either way you must have a valid key for the version you are installing.
