This forum is terrific thanks to people like ko888 and sheag123. I may ask the internet about my next question; but, I shall always ask Tom's Hardware first. I wonder, now that I have installed Windows 7.0 on my 2TB Seagate HDD along with the drivers and other applications from the CDs that came along with the many components of my build, what is the best way, if there is a way, to move the entire system over to the 250GB SanDisk SSD. My copy of Norton Ghost won't work on Win7 and Symantec has discontinued NG. I have tried twice and first Windows didn't like MBR and the next time it didn't like GTD. Perhaps SanDisk doesn't like Windows. :) P.S. I mean without spending too much money or getting on a bad website.

Drive Image XML hasn't failed me yet. You can copy files only so moving your OS to a smaller partition or drive is not a problem. Check the thread for comments and click on the links for How-to on moving Windows 7 from HD to SSD.

Is DriveImage XML good for moving windows from an HDD to an SSD?
