Hi,

I'm planning on buying the 280X GPU this Monday, so I just went online to check availability in the store I'm planning to buy from, and there are some variants of the 280x I didn't consider.

These are my options:
http://en.ksp.co.il/?uin=20671&store=eilat (Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X OC 3GB)
http://en.ksp.co.il/?uin=20668&store=eilat (MSI Radeon R9 280X GAMING 3GB )
http://en.ksp.co.il/?uin=20931&store=eilat (Asus Radeon R9 280X DirectCU II TOP OC 3GB)

As you can see they're all at the same price more or less, and are pretty much similar.

If I were to buy one of them right now, it would probably be the Asus one, just because I know Asus is great with everything gaming-related.

Which of these would you guys recommend?
And more importantly, why?

Just to address the logistics - My case is big enough even for the GB Winforce (I have an Ippon S1), and I have a 600W power supply.
Second, I'm not planning on doing any OC beyond the stock one.

Thanks in advance,
Avi.

DirectCU II is good to go. i would get an msi for overclocking but asus for great and quiet performance.

I like the Gigabyte verions for the new r9 cards better with their cooling systems and 3 fans and also their boost functions work, at least the boost from the r9 270x Asus GPU don`t work and I have not seen a test for the r9 280x. THe MSI has not that goog cooling system and there would be not much space for OC later.

1. What about the Asus?

2. I'm not an expert on these things, and I'm not planning on doing any OC beyond the stock one.

Asus have also a very good cooling system but I don`t know if the boost function on their r9 280x work because on the r9 270x it don`t work. Anything beside that both Gigabyte and Asus have very good r9 280x GPU`s and you can adjust the fan speed so that the cards get quiet under load.

1. The toxic isn't an option - due to both its higher price and lack of availability.
2. I wasn't going to buy the matrix, but the DirectCU II TOP...

read the 1 egg reviews to the link u posted.
Artifact issues almost everyone. And probably not fixable by drivers.
I'm also a sad directcu ii top owner who sent it back for replacement. And im still sad because they will replace it with the same model, which might be defective again
