Hello! I want to build my first gaming rig, and I thought this would be a good place to start.

Approximate Purchase Date: 2 months. Loads of time.

Budget Range: 1700$ After Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Video games like always

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Komplett (only PC parts site within several hundred miles)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU

Overclocking: No. I'm probably going to break stuff.

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, if it's within my budget.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Solution

This is where I got some monitor info from: http://toptengamer.hubpages.com/hub/Top-Gaming-Monitor

Keyboard: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2415290,00.asp

Solution

This; if you want to lower costs, get a cheaper monitor and drop the SSD.

Alas, I screwed up - US prices aren't the same as Scandinavian prices. 25% tax, y'know. So it sums up to 2500$ instead of 1700$.

Dammit.
