I have a mother board Asus brand product MSQ-P8H67-MPRO(B) Planning upgrading it to GTX 700 Series 4G GDDR5 I've been told about loosing some performance because of the pci 2.0 that my motherboard has and the g cards are pci 3.0 so will I have any problems? Also I'm getting a 650 watt power supply with all the connectors I need and I got 8G memory I7 2600 chip no k. maybe extra fan for cooling. Thanks for any info

Solution
While you'll be fine going to a 7xx GPU, alot on the PSU will depend on what 7xx you go with, i.e. with the upper 7xx make sure you have at least 42 AMPs on the 12 volt rail, with your DRAM, about tops you'll want to look at is 1866/8 - with your combo I'd look at the Ripjaws X or the Snipers

Okay may I ask I do have 8g memory so is it required to use 4 slots mandatory for memory? I thought about going for 16 g total 2 sticks or 4x4 for quad which is better? I have to check for room on my motherboard I had ordered a corsair power supply TX650 so does this have 6 and 8 power connector with it?

Two sticks is fine, since you're only gong to be running dual channel anyways. You can upgrade later if you really want to, just get the same exact stuff. A TX650 has plenty of connections for you.

Wondering you told me earlier to get 1866/8 or 1866/9 then you just told me 1600?

That was Tradesman, I never recommend a memory speed. I was just giving an example of what a dual channel kit looks like, just for pictorial reference.
