plz help, a question about memory rams compatibility

I want to purchase a dual channel kit of rams, my mobo support memory speed is up to 1333 and I found a lot of 1333 memory sticks that are compatible with my mobo but in the specs it reads compatible with iNTE tel LGA1155/LGA1156. I don't understand what the LGA sockets have to do with memory rams, I have LGA775 now I'm confused, here is a memory ram that says what I mentioned above http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231542

It will work just fine if it is compitable with the motherboard . It is just that this RAM is optimized for LGA 1155/1156 . Do not worry , they just want you to buy a new CPU + mobo . Marketing you see..

The sticks will be fine - you will be required to run the mobos FSB at 1333 to run the DRAM at full spec

Yeah. probably your stock speed for motherboard is lower than 1333mhz. But, you can change that manually via the motherboard's BIOS.

And basically DRAM is DRAM - the Ares line is an all purpose set that didn't come out till the Sandy Bridge 1155 was out, by that time 775 was sort of considered old hat
