Bluetooth Headset Issue

Hey guys, I'm having trouble with this new bluetooth headset I bought, and I believe I know what the problem is, but I don't know how to fix it. I've tried a bunch of stuff and googled all day, but I haven't come across anything yet so I was hoping someone here knew how I could fix this ridiculous issue.

On my MSI Z87I mITX motherboard I have an Intel Centrino Wi-Fi/Bluetooth 4.0 mini pcie adapter, and it works great, and allows me to pair any device I want, but I seem to have hit a little snag.

I'm trying to get an Air-Fi Venture AF52 to work as both a microphone AND a headset for gaming, but it seems that Winblows 7 won't allow me to use the built-in microphone and the headset features simultaneously. No matter what I do, it just won't allow it.

As you can see in the picture above, there is the "Bluetooth Headphones" option, and the "Bluetooth Headset" option. For whatever reason, I have no idea what for, these two options can never be enabled at the same time. It's pretty ridiculous that I can't use the microphone separately.

I need to do this because of the fact that when you have the "Bluetooth Headset" feature selected, the audio quality that is ported to the headset automatically is awful. It isn't made to play sound/music/etc.. it's essentially call quality, which is garbage. However, whenever I select the "Bluetooth Headphones" option, the microphone does not work. It says that the device is there, but that it's "disconnected".

So anyways, does anyone know of a workaround for this? Is there any audio controller software out there that I can use instead of this shitty windows 7 sound thing?

Solution
There are three audio profiles on Bluetooth:
- Headset - 8kHz / 8bits
- Hands-Free - 16kHz / 8bits
- A2DP Headphone - roughly CD-quality, only supports one-way audio

Use of the Bluetooth microphone is tied to the Headset profile in the Bluetooth standard itself. Replacing "the shitty windows 7 sound thing" would not help you in any way when the device you are using only supports one Bluetooth profile at a time.

So first, good answer.

Second, I do believe that using a 3rd party audio mixer/controller would help considering the Windows mixer itself says that both the headphone and headset are enabled. I need to figure out a way to port the computer audio to the headphones, and the voice to the mixer or some other application.
