Should I wait til Black Friday?

So, I'm building a PC soon, I have the money for it right now, and my budget is super tight.

I was wondering if you guys think it would be worth it to wait til Black Friday to buy my PC? Will it be worth it?

I'm buying it in pieces & assembling it myself, so I was wondering if certain components are likely to be on sale?

For example, One of the things I'm having trouble with, is the GPU. I can't afford an amazing one, so I was gonna go for a R9 270x, however, if GPU's go on sale on Black Friday, I was thinking maybe I can pick up a 7950 or 7970 or something (if the sale is right of course).

I've never PC shopped on Black Friday, and I plan on ordering purely online, so I wanted to hear your guys' opinions on the situation, would it be worth it? What parts are likely to go on sale?

I really want my PC now, so I was thinking about buying all the parts except my GPU & then buying the GPU on sale, is that a wise decision?

Also, the CPU I will have is most likely going to be an AMD FX 8320. Would I be able to play any games on that without a GPU (since it doesn't have onboard graphics)? Or will my PC pretty much just be limited to internet browsing until I get the GPU?

Your advice is HIGHLY appreciated, thank you very much in advance.

For the GPU, I think it's probably in your best interest to wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday, as it is only ~ 2 weeks away. Chances are a 7950 or a 7970 will be on sale because they are technically last gen AMD cards, whereas most people will want a r9 series GPU.

Worst come to worst, they don't have a 7950/7970 on sale, then you can just buy the 270x.

Thank you, those are some very wise words, I was thinking the same thing, because everyone is going crazy over the R9 series right now, I'm guessing the older 7900 series will be on sale & not as popular so it would be a good time to get one.

Also, another question I had, was do you think MoBo's will go on sale?

I just recently asked around & realized my current MoBo will not be good for OC'ing, so I have to get one that is like $25 more, and I was wondering if MoBo's usually go on sale for Black Friday so I can pick up a better one & won't have to pay the extra $25.

Like I said, I don't know what components usually go on sale for Black Friday, so I don't know what to look for.

It would definitely be worth it but it is 14 days away so if you are impatient you could just get the parts now.

I believe some motherboards will be on sale during that period, but you might not get the exact motherboard you want. So it's probably best to treat the motherboard as you should the GPU. Wait until BF/CM and if what you want is on sale go for it, or if there's something if equivalent quality and price, go for that.
