Increasing the voltage ("electrical pressure") on your CPU will not make it run faster, just hotter. Adjusting the clock speed higher ("overclocking") does that, but often requires altering the voltage to maintain stability.

you must increase the frequency and the CPO multiplier in BIOS In the stepwise manner I have described for the voltage. Increasing the voltage, by itself will not affect the speed.Increase the voltage in small increments. Watch your CPU temperatures and run Prime95 after each increase. You can get higher speeds, but you can also fry the CPU if you are not careful. It is a tedious process. The results usually worthwhile
