Wi Fi unable to obtain ip address automatically in Win 7

Hi All,

I am using an HP Laptop with Win 7 64 Bit OS.
My Laptop is unable to obtain ip address automatically through WI FI but internet is working when I am connecting through LAN.
Whereas I am able to connect to internet with this same WI FI network through my mobile and other laptop.

I am using office laptop with McAfee installed in it.
Sometime back I was able to use internet through WI FI but suddenly one day it stopped obtaining ip address automatically thorough WI FI.

Please Help.

check the wi-fi settings if you did not disable it or turn it off on the laptop .

@Scout_03 - Wi Fi is very much on but after connected to WI Fi Network, I see a yellow mark in the network icon that says "Limited Connectivity".

this means you do not receive signal from the other parts could be your router or isp check this .

The problem here is that I am able to use internet from mobile and other laptop using WI FI but for my laptop, its not able to obtain ip..

if you use a router put the mac address of this wirelss laptop on the permit list and save settings that should help .
