how good is the asus ares 2

To take it into consideration the asus ares 2 is considered to be a 7970 x2 or similar to a 7990 which is considered to be on par or superior to the 690. In terms of price vs performance I would not recommenced it due to its high price compared to the 7990, which has fallen significantly recently. It is, if anything, a collectors item.

it was a special edition card. i bet people rarely talk about it because it is almost impossible to get one right now since Asus only make 1000 of those for world wide distribution and sells it at $1500 a piece. it is faster than 690 but it also eat a lot of juice to do so.
