Graphics Card for SLI 5670x1080 on ultra

I am needing 2 graphics cards to run most games on ultra on 5670x1080 (3 monitors)

Any suggestions?

I do not want to even consider the 290 or 290x until they have after market coolers. Plus they kill the wattage. I am planning on reading the reviews once the heating & noise issues are solved.

My plan is to upgrade my graphics cards in a year or so and sell the ones I am buying now. I know that the GPU market is switching over into next gen with the new tech coming out.

I was thinking about the EVGA 3gb 780s in SLI.

Or the gigabyte 770 4gb oc in SLI.

I prefer SLI to Crossfire because I hear that Crossfire is still not 100% and has issues.

I want to get something that is worth the money. From the 770s 4gb to the 780s is there $300 worth of extra power and features?

I am stuck between getting the best quality, and the best quality per dollar. I would get the 770s if it meant that I could do what I wanted.

The 770's will handle it and probably it is better performance over price ratio.

I belief so, there is only around 15% performance difference between the 770 and 780 so if one is playable the other one is as well. There are multiple bench marks on that resolution out there (www) so look it up.

I have 4gb 770's in SLI with triple monitors and in BF4 I get 45avg FPS on ultra. If you lower a couple settings you can stay at 60 FPS. If I had it to do over again I'd go with 3gb 780's.

Id go gtx 770s 4GB and call it a day
