I currently have a HP Pavilion laptop dv2000 laptop. I also have a copy of Total War: Rome II from a friend.

Specs:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 2.00 Ghz
Memory: 2 GB
Graphics: Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family

I want to play Total War: Rome II but this laptop plays it at the worst quality the game could offer at nearly 1 fps :( . I'm here to ask if the laptop's parts can be replaced so it could run the game at a smooth rate of 30-40 fps because it will take me sometime to save for a completely new laptop or if I can't change the parts, a cheap laptop to run the game at a decent rate.

What is the make and model of the laptop? Most laptops aren't upgradable unless they are a specific gaming build.

Well, Im pretty sure that your laptop isn't upgradable, You will have to buy a new laptop if you want to play new games. Yours is not meant to play games.
