Hello,

I would like to hear your opinion because i can't find any answer as i am doing research. So when you wanted to have external GPU for laptop with GTX 780 which many people are looking for to add a GPU to their laptop to play games.. But Instead of GTX 780. I wanted to know if its possible to use Geforce GT 780M, the GPU is a notebook GPU for laptop. As i know that it is small and powerful GPU. so is there a external Adapter or device that can be done with this ideal? If you have any questions or don't understand my comment, then please ask.

I thought the GTX 780M was OEM only? Where and how are you going to get one? Most of the external GPU solutions that I've seen are done by external PCI-Express adapter. But in most cases, the adapter will have limited bandwidth that could bottleneck faster cards, depending on the type of connection with the laptop.

Here is a relevant thread regarding this topic:

Hello, again

I understand and thank you for giving me answer and opinion. I don't know that notebook GPU are OEM. I just looked it up and realize its impossible. Too bad i was hoping that i could have use one of these notebook GPU since they are smaller than GTX GPU that required PSU and ePCI or other adapters. Well i was disappointed. So Thank you.
