my computer has a hdmi plug in and so i pluged in my ps3 to it hoping it would show up on my monitor but it doesnt. I dont know how to make it show, well if it is even possible to use like that. please help? anyone?

Well very few computers have HDMI in they are instead HDMI out. To get your PS3 to show up on your monitor you would have to plug the PS3 into the monitor and not the computer.
