A system that has a dual channel memory controller will function more efficiently using a 2x4Gb set; however, a single 8GB module will work with no problems at all.

Those two URL's that you have listed show different specifications. Although they both have a clock speed of 1600MHz, one is CAS9, and the other is CAS10. The CAS9 memory is faster and generally more expensive, so the two are not exactly comparable.
