I'm an old school video editor from the 80's. I finally bought an HD capable system; Dell XPS 8500, 16 GB RAM, Intel I7 3770 CPU @3.4 GHZ processor, running Windows 8, 64 bit. I'm using a 2 monitor setup, with Adobe Premiere CS6. The full screen playback monitor (non program) is awful, rough and skippy. Luckilly, the DVD's don't manifest this steppy motion, but I'd sure like to get a smooth playback to edit with. Can I allocate more RAM to the graphics card, or do I need to upgrade the card? I've been in the BIOS, and see no option for graphic or video. What card will be compatible for this system. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.
