I recently built a pc for my girlfriend and I'm trying to overclock it for her, but I'm having trouble doing it. I can't reach the BIOS which is a big problem since that seems like it'd be the easiest route. When I turn on the computer, the monitor is all black and then it shows the windows welcome screen.
Specs:
Gigabyte Z87-UD3H
i5-4670k
CM Hyper 212 Evo
8GB RAM 1600
XFX 6970
Right now I'm using Gigabyte's EasyTune app and I chose the default "extreme" option which was 4400 MHz but when I log on Tera the game always freezes. I'm assuming some of the settings the extremes are set to is too much for the game to handle.
