My current system config is :

RAM - 4Gb DDR3
HDD - Seagate 500Gb SATA
Monitor - Samsung SyncMaster B2230 (22")
PSU - Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 600W

I want to upgrade my CPU, Motherboard and PSU.
Please suggest a configuration for the prince around Rs. 20000.
Make sure the components you suggests, should be available in Kolkata.

Corsair makes okay PSUs. Get a 600 watt minimum from the following brands: XFX, Seasonic, Corsair or Antec. Do not cheap out on a PSU. Also, AMD's CPUs are great for a budget build and have amazing performance for what you pay. That being said intel's CPUs do perform better in games but not drastically so. I say get a fx 6300 and save some money for a graphics card upgrade in the future. Have fun building.

Thanks @TheIronDUke for your valuable suggestion.
I am sorry to say that Seasonic PSU is not that much available in my area, so what about Corsair PSU ?

FX 6300 is good choice, it is best for my budget. But as far as I know AMD will beat Intel in everything except single core performance. So for gaming, do we need to consider single core performance ?

Instead of "Asus m5a97 r 2.0" I would like to go with "Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3". Is it OK ?
