Hi,
I have a Samsung Gamer Series 7 laptop (NP700G7C-S02). It runs Windows 8.1 at the moment. I just restored it to factory settings, applied all the updates including an update from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.
It has 2 separate HDDs, both 465GB.

Everyting was fine until i noticed that C: drive is 59.9 GB.
C: is where my windows is installed. My other drive, D: is fine and it shows the whole 465 GB.
I checked Disk Management in Windows and as you can see in the screenshot below it shows that "Disk 0" has 465 GB.

I checked my restore points and it has only one and that's from a year ago, when i purchased the laptop. I checked online for solutions, downloaded the program WinDirStrat and scanned the computer. And that program also saw C: as only 60 GB.

Any help is much appreciated.

Go into the Tools section of the Properties window for drive C and tell it to run Error Checking (chkdsk). A summary should be displayed at the end, and a reboot may not be required.
